  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Raining on the just and the unjust....

2019 was the driest year on record where I live. We lost some saplings, even though we watered them. It was simply too hot. The same year over 100,000 Christians signed up to fast and pray for the end to the drought. Where I live, to date 2020 has seen the wettest start to the year in nearly 50 years. I can only just keep up with the mowing!

God does answer the prayers of His people. It's just a shame that it takes a catastrophe to bring us together.

God has already answered every prayer ever offered. past and future.
If you pray properly, God will give you the correct prayers He has answered.

He does answer prayers. Though how it is answered and when, it is up to Him.

He does loves a sincere heart, as well as having faith in Him also in what you pray is important. Without faith we can't please God.

Sometimes He also wants us to be patient. At this time the devil likes to try discouraging us, trying to make us loose faith in what we pray for. Whilst God wants us to continue trusting in Him and waiting for Him.

I am very glad for you that God has answered your prayers where you live. He is faithful! Always! :)
