i think audioslave is a good rock band, but nothing compared to Rage Against the Machine. just two different bands now. i loved Rage's political angst. and with audioslave, they are just a rock band now. even though i do like audioslave it just seems like a little mix of rage and soundgarden.

I love Rage. I remember the first time I heared them waaaaaaaaay back in Highschool lol and I was like who is this I need to get it

There's a grocery store by my house that makes about 60 different kinds of sausage, and they're all really great. If they suddenly switched to pre-packaged sausage, regardless of how good it was, it would be a sign that the store just doesn't have what it once did.

yea, There were kinda breaking up at that point, But I am inclinded to believe that Renagades was a tribute to all the artists that infuenced them and was not a spur of the moment thing, but something that they wanted to do for a long time.

Audioslave are okay.. but their best song by miles is "Show me how to live" - the rest is a bit.. meh. tbh.

Yeah, Calm Like a Bomb's my favorite song by them. I've listened to them since...1994-5, about...Guerrilla Radio's an awesome song, so is Take the Power Back...and People of the Sun...and Testify...and Killing in the Name of...and Wake Up...I don't think they ever released a song that's NOT good, actually
