Statement from the radio station.
Hey, at least the station apologized. Forgiveness is key, especially as us Christians, cos sometimes I lack forgiveness myself and hold grudges.

Here is a POLITICO article on the radio station host:

Quote from POLITICO: "Sara M. Lomax, President and CEO of WURD Radio, announced Sunday that Biden’s interview with “The Source” host Andrea Lawful-Sanders was “arranged and negotiated independently … without knowledge, consultation or collaboration with WURD management.” Lawful-Sanders violated the station’s standards of journalistic independence and “mutually agreed” to part ways with the station, effective immediately, Lomax confirmed."

Matthew 6:14-15: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Ephesians 4:31-32: "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Colossians 3:12-13: "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

Luke 17:3-4: "So watch yourselves.“If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”"

All verses in NIV.

It is good that the radio station stood up for the right thing. News media these days is pretty pathetic, and this is a step in the right direction.

Amen to this. God bless the radio station for standing up against information misuse. I'd trust a smaller station over the massive media corporations. If that is not possible, then I would trust the BBC or Reuters next over CNN and Faux.

I agree. This was totally unethical.
I suspect that this “interview” was quite a feather in Ms. Lawful Sanders’ cap, until it caught fire!
[Biden camp‘s spin: We were just trying to help a struggling journalist with their career, and made some suggestions about what the totally normal and not flaking out President would like to say to her audience!]

(Like it’s ever going to be mentioned again by the Administration.)

It is generally pretty normal for interviewees (or their staff) to suggest topics of conversation and even questions that they would like to answer before an interview. The interviewer typically doesn't use those questions though, and typically doesn't rigidly follow the suggested line of discussion either. It's a game that has to be played - you want the interview (and future interviews), so you have to at least somewhat go along with what the interviewee wants or they'll just blow you off and never contact you again, but parroting their pre-arranged questions and passing them off as your own is unethical and harms your journalistic integrity.
