It is good that the radio station stood up for the right thing. News media these days is pretty pathetic, and this is a step in the right direction.Hey, at least the station apologized. Forgiveness is key, especially as us Christians, cos sometimes I lack forgiveness myself and hold grudges.

Amen to this. God bless the radio station for standing up against information misuse. I'd trust a smaller station over the massive media corporations. If that is not possible, then I would trust the BBC or Reuters next over CNN and Faux.
I agree. This was totally unethical.
It is generally pretty normal for interviewees (or their staff) to suggest topics of conversation and even questions that they would like to answer before an interview. The interviewer typically doesn't use those questions though, and typically doesn't rigidly follow the suggested line of discussion either. It's a game that has to be played - you want the interview (and future interviews), so you have to at least somewhat go along with what the interviewee wants or they'll just blow you off and never contact you again, but parroting their pre-arranged questions and passing them off as your own is unethical and harms your journalistic integrity.
