for example, since becoming a parent, am "more protective" of other kids and willing to speak up/get involved
it's not that didn't notice kids before and had even worked/volunteered with kids but parenting changed my outlook
my guess is your outlook has you more focused on certain things which validates your thinking; is that possible?

All the racism hoopla in this thread, has at it's starting point, a routine traffic stop, with a cop who acted professionally and respectfully towards the driver, who's only defense was - "I'm black!".
There is more than one state where you don't have to sign a ticket. You can look it up. I don't choose to give out my location.What state would you be referring to?
