Questions section!!!

Because I am a first time mommy to be, there are a lot of questions I have and I am sure alot of us have, and maybe if we had a general section to ask it might be easier to have the answers in one place.

Like my question right now is Cloth or disposable diapers?

Pros, cons, what did you decide on?

I think we'll do cloth diapers, and disposables when we go out. My mom did cloth when we were babies and she says it's really worth it, that you save a lot of money. Plus, the "green" side of me hates to think that all the disposable diapers are piling up in landfills...

I used disposibles with Robert... and will with Thomas as well. It is just easier for me since I will be going back to work once I am cleared at least for a little while. The pros are convinance, the cons out weigh it, but as long as I am working, I don't have the time or the energy to do diaper duty...

so far with my first two i used disposables, but during my pregnancy with luke i slowly started buying cloth diapers and looking more and more into it. I have ALOT of them now, but never used them with Luke. I am hoping to use them at home with this baby and use disposables when i am out. I probably will start using the cloth when the baby is a month old, after ive had time to heal and settle in!

I will be doing disposables again. I don't have a washer or dryer to do the cloths.

we use/used disposable for Christian, it was just eaiser for us as I do not have a trong stomach even when I am not pregnant. I have always had a hard time changing a dirty diaper.

bouncy seats, that was a question I had when I had my first one.

It saved our lives, lol. We would put her in it and let the little fishes swim and the vibrator relax her to sleep. They are awesome.

What kind did you have? I am looking into those for my baby and I didnt know which one to get

No bouncy seat here... I am a sling momma, and it's always been like the instant sleep chamber for my infants. We do have a swing- but so far with Andy I have barely used it at all.

Rather than a bouncy seat and a crib and a swing- if I was a first time mom- I'd buy an Amby bed- you can even just move the whole thing around the house.

Target has the fischer price rainforest one but not the aquarium... checking walmart.

Walmart doesnt have it either, but babysrus does.

they have discontinued the aquarium stuff @ fisher price, FYI....I did all Justin's stuff in aquarium...I managed to find everything on clearance and I got all but the bouncy seat. You might check amazon. Give me a minute and i'll show you the one I got Justin. Don't get the rainforest one. We got two and they both sucked.
