questions on healings and the holy spirit

I go this article off of a revival website. All my life i have been taught to believe the opposite of this and now after i have read this and seen videos i cant think of any reasons why it might not be true... or any reason why anyone would have a problem with it. I also saw tons of videos on youtube that were incredible and i cant understand why ppl like my Baptist family dont believe in it or something. ( to see the videos look up on youtube "Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival")

Can anyone please explain this to me??? is it real or fake??can i please have charismatic opinion and a conservative opinion??

"You see in that Shekinah Glory presence you are totally transformed. That night in the tent after the meetings were over about 17 people stayed to help me with putting our sound equipment away for the night. All of a sudden there was screams from those who were there Melinda, Melinda do you see it. I was wrapping a microphone cord up at the time and when I lifted my head to see what they were screaming about I saw with my natural eyes the biggest white clouds filled the tent. We all saw the same thing with our natural eyes not a dream, not a vision but that night we beheld the Shekinah Glory of God. The ground was Holy just like last week in the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival. The Lord spoke to me and said this is but a down payment of what is to come in the last great outpouring. I have seen the Glory and Fire of His presence happen in other meetings that I held and each time the Lord says it is but a fore shadow of what is to come."

From what I can find on the internet, it doesn't seem to have been a fake but it doesn't appear to have been a spinal cord healing, as one may expect from her paralysis. She had a brain injury in an automobile accident back in 1987. There is an older video which she had done showing an interview where she talked about her injury and her singing career as a Gospel artist. It showed her in her therapy sessions.

Miracles do occur but be skeptical when you see these types of videos because there have been many cases where evangelists seed the crowd and have fake healings.

did you only watch one of the videos? because there were TONS!!! The bay of the Holy Spirit Revival has about 30 videos of healings and such. And there was one video of that showed the Holy Spirit falling down like fire upon people and everyone was just being slain in the Spirit! It was crazy..... everything i have seen that they have done seems genuine... I just dont understand why anyone could doubt that kind of working of God like the ppl in my church.

I didn't watch all the videos from the revival but I checked out the woman who walked after 20 yrs. I have been healed at least twice and have had many Spiritual events but what turns many people away are the many false evangelists who "seed" the crowds with fakes.

ya your right about that. And alot of evangelists from TV are false.... but are they all?? Is every single one false??

IMHO, no, but we must realize that God can heal a believer through a false healer. Faith heals not an evangelist.
