1. what is there beef with vatican 2

They think it was an invalid council, influenced by Satan. As evidence, they point to the social upheaval in the Church since 1965, the dissidents, the declining numbers of priests and religious, and just generally everything that we didn't have in 1961.

2. do they just think there is no pope, or do they have there own pope somewhere?

Depends on the group. Most of them believe that has been no legitimate Pope since Pius XII. There is one branch that elected their very own Pontiff, in a clapboard cabin in Montana a couple years ago.

Disaffection with the aftermath of Vatican II.

4. What is the churches view of these people?

They are considered erroneous at best, schismatic and/or heretical at worst. The late Archbishop Marcel LeFebvre was probably the most famous example, and he was excommunicated for deliberately disobeying a direct mandate from Rome.
