Please forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to get my head around Calvin theology. My question is does anyone that hears and accept the gospel of Christ become saved if they accept Christ as there saviour?

Thanks. But my is there an answere to my question that can be posted here?
John 3:16
I answered it.....
God makes the hearing ear, and the seeing eye. No man can come to Jesus unless the Father draw him(John 6:44).
When you go to a Reformed Church, you won't see your usual offer for people to "come to the altar and accept Jesus" bit. You see that stuff in mostly Contemporvana churches that are WOF or Pentecostal/Charismatic.
God knows His Elect.
How do you know that they 'accepted Christ'? Just because they said so? Just because they said a little public prayer?
I'm trying to sincerely understand this point but I can't seem to get a straight answer to this question. Idk I've always been kind of a bottom line guy.
John 3:16
Good Day, Shawn
The question is a bit loaded.....
If they hear yes, but thier hearing is a work of God
Accept Christ as savior... um not a biblical concept.
The Gospel... means a lot of things to different people...
Those given to the son by the Father that has a result of the work of God in giving them new hearts. Come to Christ for the forgivness he secured for them by his before the world began, and seen in time at the cross. He died so that they will live, he is and always was their lord and saviour and no body can change that. The preaching of the Gospel is the only means the Father ordained to be used to draw his own to himself and give only them to his son for salvation.
Does that help??
In Him,
Bill
^I know someone would do the job I didn't want to do. Thanks. lol
