Hello,

A quick question for you guys. My wife and I have been seeking a church. We have struggled with modern churches with their contemporary worship and lack of tradition. I have looked into the Orthodox Church and well as the RCC. This morning I realized that I was baptized as an infant in the Anglican Church. I decided to look into it and found a church near us we may want to check out. My question is would taking Communion be acceptable if i was baptized Anglican? I haven't been to an Anglican church since I was a very small child. Or should I talk to the pastor first?

Thanks very much!

gord:)

The only thing I would add is that you might check out the internet sites of churches in your area. Different churches have different worship styles. Even the same church might have more than one style ( for example we have 4 services and 4 styles of worship).

Thanks guys. Appreciate the info.

I think the worship in the church I am looking into is pretty traditional, which is what we looking for :)

Have you checked with the local priest/pastor? It is always nice for them to know of your thoughts and wishes, and concerns.
