Hi everyone!

I hope you all are having a blessed day... I have a question... WHERE in the Bible does it tell the story of the men who were asked (by The Lord, I believe) to put rocks in their pockets and in the morning they turned into gold?

I know I read it somewhere but for the life of me I cannot find it!!!!

Please help... anyone?

I do not think that is in scriptures. You must be confusing another story with the bible.

Nearest I can find is Job 22:24 but it has nothing about pockets! (JPS 1917).

LLOJ is right, re-reading the Bible is never a bad thing to do!!
I read it twice through each year, and each time there are new things in there that I'd swear wasn't there the last time I read it!! Maybe your rocks of gold will be one of those mystery appearances someday but right now, I'm with everyone else - not there.

Funny, I've never even heard of Randy Acorn... My goodness, I'm beginning to feel like I dreamed it...

The Israelites were camped out and The Lord asked their leader to tell them to cover up their filth because He was going to walk through... Then in the same story to fill their pockets with rocks, some wouldn't do it or put few because of the weight and they found it hard to travel (or sleep) and in the morning the nuggets were turned to gold (blessing for the obedient.)

Aaaah, it's driving me crazy!! I nkow I read it... Thought it had to be in The Bible since I don't read outside of it (unless, maybe on the net)
