First of all, Yes, I am a atheist. I am a firm believer in evolution (Yes, I have read both the bible and the orgin of the species. I have a educated opinion), and I do not believe in God. I am here to ask you all why, as your bible preaches both tolerance and loving, People threaten to kill, torture and lunch me for no other reason that not agreeing with you.

I am 14. I drink (Legal drinking age in Denmark is virtually nonexistant), I party, I do things that will probably send me straight to hell.

I also get top grades, have lots of friends, help my local community and my family. Am I a bad person? I'm a nihilistic atheist, meaning that I believe that humans just are. We have no real purpose other than to duplicate and keep the race alive, therefore, we might as well get the best of it.
Now, I ask you. What's your opinion? do you agree/disagree with me?

Who has threatened to kill, torture and lynch you? That's no christian behavior for sure and people who'd do that to you cannot be true christians. The Bible indeed calls us to non-violence and not judging anyone; God is the one who searches everyone's hearts and judges us.

Everyone of us sins, regardless of whether you're christian or not. Now, many of us make it sound as if some sins - like drinking and having premarital sex or such - were so much worse then any others and have the we're-so-much-better-people-then-you-attitude, when in fact none of that is true. Every sin is as bad as another, and yet every sin has been forgiven for those that want to have that forgiveness. Read the Letter to Romans again for a more realistic point of view of a christian on sin.

[Just as a side note - and I don't want to sound preachy now - are you aware that drinking so young actually disturbs and hinders your brain development and that it can never be repaired once the damage is done? You should at least consider taking better care of yourself!]

You obviously have some good stuff going for you, now that you don't have trouble at school, you've got friends and are on good terms with your parents as well and do some good things in your community. Keep that like it is, it's nice to hear that you have such a good attitude. What I worry about is whether you yourself feel good and whether you enjoy what you have. Why do you drink and party so hard? Would you still be accepted among your friends if you chose differently? Your tone is really defensive, why? Do you feel threatened by the message christians have? You don't need to answer these questions for me, just consider them for your own sake.

Now to your question. In the obvious part I disagree with you; I'm a christian and I don't thin nihilism is the way to go either. And I don't think we have no purpose. Instead I believe, that we've got talents and ambitions for a reason, and that reason is using them for something good. I believe God has planned it that way and smiles upon us when we find ways of using them for His work. That's my opinion on the reason of living. I must agree with you, when you say we ought to just make the best of life. Yes, I and all other christians believe that we've got an eternal life in Heaven that must be better then anything I can think of now, but it so doesn't mean that I though I needed to suffer here. It is said that "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Gal. 5:22-23). Yes, it includes joy and love among others! That's why I'm going to enjoy my life despite - and also because - I'm a christian.

First of all I don't believe that there is a Hell or that people will burn eternally in the lake of fire, I say that because of a few things. One, what kind of God of LOVE would torture people for eternity because they didn't worship and love him.That's insane I mean when Jesus Christ was on the earth he never demanded people to get on the ground and worship him or else he would torture them for all eternity.(If you ask me, I think that makes him sound kind of like an evil tyrant making everyone worship him) I'm not saying that He is, just that this belief makes Him look like that. Two, God promised His people eternal life, if that is true then why would he also give the sinners eternal life. God is the God of love, not pain,torture and death, that's Lucifer not Jesus. I believe that Hell isn't an eternity of fire but a fealling that sinners feal when God comes, just as we will be happy, joyful and feal salvation, they will feal hell Even though the bible says that they will be in eternal fire in the book of revelation, the fire is just a normal fire, it will go out when it has burned the sinners away, but the effect of them being gone will be eternal. Just know that the Lord loves us all and showed us by giving His life on the cross.

Hitler was not a bad person because of his atrocious acts; he committed atrocious acts because he was a bad person. We are not bad people because of the things we do, but we do the bad things that we do because we are bad people.

We are horrendously bad, because we have horrendously bad hearts. We are not inherently bad people that slip up from time to time, but people who do bad things because in our hearts we have hated God and reject Him.

Public school isn't that bad. Of course there are atheist and a more non-christian culture there, but I would definitely send my children (when I have some lol) there. How else can to spread the gospel if you know no atheists?

Lol, got nothing against beach wear..its just that..i go downtown and preach and hand out tracts with my church..and evry time, when a man comes up and says "your being too hard" or "cool-off" its a man with a pink/purple/ baby blue shirt with shorts and flip flops... and about public school, christians should not even be there the bible says that christian perants should home-school their kids (another thing that has been buried from society) The public school is filled with propaganda and lies..of corse when your in it you dont notice..but like me, my folks took me out of school in 8 grade..and i look back at the way things were...they are preparing this generation for the new world order ...its rather all i'v read and learned *in my private studys* are 100% bogus... or you are un-learned and unaware of what is REALLY is going on..you might know the news..but i know the news behind the news...and sometimes the news behind that ..i do my reasearch..praise God for truth!

It may be true that there are somethings that you see that we don't but I think it is also true that you may have had your mind changed because of your home schooling so you are missing things too.

In Deuteronomy 6:6-7 "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." He did not say "keep your kids out of public school" because back them im sure it was un heard of..he is saying perants should teach their children, and train them up to the way they should go.(Because now a days, if perants dont, The humanistic, athiestic public school withh train them in the way they want them to go!).. yeah its just 2 scriptures..seems not that big of a deal..but notice it said "Wich i command thee"..Jesus says in John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments"...
