CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Honestly, no it wouldn't. It wouldn't bother me if we were married either. I would trust that my bf or husband knew what he was doing. I don't think masturbastion is a sin but I do agree that it can lead to lustful thoughts that are sinful.
I'd have a problem with it if I was married and my husband's masturbastion was coming between us.

Is it not a sin, or at least the lustful thoughts that go with it? I dont kinow how i would feel about it. I guess if you were married and he did it then there would need to be a conversation as to wheter or not your both satisfying each other first.... and if the woman simply cant look in to why she cant and then leave it with him and God i guess...If it were my boyf then i would talk about how i could help him stop as obviously i would be doin something that made him lust and i would NOT want to do that. if it was seperate from me i would try and get him to talk about it or we would pray about it.... I think

Well, I know that my b/f does at times, but it's not a extremely frequent thing. But I can't say I haven't had the same struggles, so it's not like I can expect from him what I wouldn't expect from myself. In marriage I hope that my hubby and I will not touch ever. I think that should be the goal. I think in marriage you need to MAKE the time to have sex. It's important, and if either of you end up masturbating because of a need to fulfill desire for your spouse, then time for having more sex or being closer or whatever it is you need should be made.

I don't really know. I've never really thought about it. I know that my boyfriend does it once in a while and as long as he is thinking of me and not some other chick, why should I even care?

It doesn't bother me at all if my boyfriend/husband masturbates. Yep! What his hand could provide that I cant - bothers me on a serious level. Besides, any reason anyone would touch for would be out of lust... it cant be love and that my friend is a sin. Besides masturbation itself IS a sin and it DOES say so in the bible and anything God has a problem with, I have a problem with.

Oh and single people don't touch either! Not that I am holier than thou or anything, but it really is not something that should be done. Sex is for marriage and 2 people, not one fulfilling lustful desires.

I think it depends on the situation. If he were doing it in place of having sex with me, then yeah, I would mind it big time. But if he did it because one of us were away or if I'm sick for an extended period of time or something, then I wouldn't mind.....as long as he were thinking about me. I tend to have the higher drive of the two of us, so we don't have the issue of him doing it because I turn him down.

I think the real question should be whether it bothers God. There are many sins in this world that I'm sure we would all love to do or continue doing. God comes first. I may personally think its okay to have sex before marriage, but that doesnt make it right before the eyes of the Lord. Remember, your body is the temple in which the Holy Spirit dwells, treat it holy and keep it pure.
