(Question) Do I need to ask the Lord for the things...

First of all. I have no idea where to put this, but I'm just going to ask a question.

Do I need to ask the Lord for what I want even if He already knows what I want before I even realized it? And why?

Though I also know what I want, but I don't know what I need.. I'm not sure what to say..

If possible be biblical.

Ask the Lord to tell you what you are in need of, and what to pray for. He can place the thoughts and ideas in your mind. You'll have a better prayer experience that way Cheers.

Also, I've always been praying just in my mind, I don't say it aloud, nor whisper since God is also in a secret place am I doing the right thing?

1st reason is I am shy even if I am alone in my room, it's not sound proof there's someone on the other rooms beside my room.

I don't pray out-loud and my prayers get answered often. The key to getting your prayers answered is to ask God for His will to be done. He will often answer that prayer. Which is why I suggest asking Him to supply you with what to pray for.

Has God ever spoken out loud to you? No? Then I would imagine he's just fine with silent prayer.

I'm also having trouble with trusting I have a little faith, but what I show is I have a lot of faith actually I don't know what was real and what was not anymore. I find myself reasoning and excusing.

I'm having a hard time thinking what if, just what if he doesn't show me the way, then at that moment I would really lose all faith. Was afraid of losing faith.

That's just why I keep myself away from the Lord and just live a lie. I don't even know if I am praying, but I am always talking to him anytime, anywhere I also don't know if talking with him is considered as praying even though.
