"He" put into it?
I don't think so.
It took a shrewdness of scientists decades to mess the Bible up that bad.
I don't know if you know this or not, but we say there are two ways God reveals Himself to us:He referring to God. And yes, the fossil record and the geological record of the earth are closer to God's own record than the Bible is.
I don't know if you know this or not, but we say there are two ways God reveals Himself to us:
The two should not contradict.
- General Revelation -- nature.
- Special Revelation -- the Bible.
Psalm 19 speaks of both types: vss 1-6 speaking of General Revelation, and vss 7-11 speak of Special.
You do know that God is going to destroy His creation (since it got corrupted) and make a new one without corruption?Nope. Nothing in their about saying that you should take the Bible to be more important than God's creation.

a slew of anachronisms like Egypt and China before the Flood?
Okay ... I'll take that as a YES.
You can't be that dense.
He referring to God. And yes, the fossil record and the geological record of the earth are closer to God's own record than the Bible is.
Ya ... well ... history can ...Historians in the first half of the 19th century placed early Egypt at 2717 BC. This was before evolution and before radiocarbon dating.
Nevermind.essentialsaltes said:I know, I know, history can take a hike.

I stand corrected. If Jesus can walk on water, surely Noah and his kin can walk on quicksand, right?
Hinduism destroyed India, while its Caste System was so oppressive to the common man, that the common man started Buddhism as a "breakaway religion" from Hinduism.Certainly the Indus Valley Civilization goes back that far.
I stand corrected.
Wow -- you were there, weren't you!?Thanks for the QED. God cleaned up the Flood not because He needed to, but because You demanded He do so.
Wow -- you were there, weren't you!?
Given that the witch hunters, crusaders, and inquisitors had specific bible verses to justify their crimes.Looks like SNOPES agrees.
I guess there were no pyramids built in Antarctica.
These kinds of stories must come out IN SPITE OF science, not WITH RESPECT TO science.
And I'll be glad to admit it.
Unlike those who like to bring up the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Witch hunt; but don't have the integrity (or knowledge) to admit those were done IN SPITE OF the Bible.
Yes, You doNo, I don't.
We took it in art school when I was 24 years old.And why is that?
Are you familiar with etching as an art?
So India no longer exists? What is that thing on the bottom of Asia?Hinduism destroyed India, .
