Life today is so uncertain.
Who’s the man behind the curtain?
Do you know him, know him really?
Or think you know him, love him dearly?
Trust in his words, think they’ll help you?
Think he’s God’s man, come to rescue?
Are you sure he’s not the devil?
Behind the mask will come all evil?
Bible tells us to test all man
Don’t be fooled by earthly wisdom.
Test the prophets, test the teachers,
Test our leaders, test the preachers.
Listen carefully to what they say,
Be so careful you they not sway.
We live in times with so much evil,
Lies and liars, much upheaval.
Bible warns of days of Noah,
Much rebellion, undergo a
Time of testing, tribulation,
Tiring, trying situation.
Don’t be fooled by earthly wisdom,
Don’t be fooled by men with visions.
What’s on surface may be for show.
What’s beneath we may not yet know.
Times ahead not be what some hope.
Times ahead may be hard to cope.
Not for our best, our best interest,
Might be for others, their self-interest.
So put your trust, your trust in God,
Rely on His word, not a fraud.
Depend upon Him, on His word,
And not on men who’re so absurd.
