Put Up Your Shield!
Ephesians 6: 16... Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all fiery darts of the wicked one.
Notice the highlighted words! Above all take the shield of faith. Also notice this shield of faith - it quenches All fiery darts, not just some! It is important for us to realize that no matter what kind of fiery darts the enemy may shoot at us, that ultimately, in light of eternity, they cannot hurt us!

Psalm 84:11... For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Psalm 119:114... You are my hiding place and my shield: I hope in Your Word.
Psalm 3:3... But You are a shield around me, O LORD ; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
Lord please remind each of us to take our shield of faith - above all. Remind each that with this shield of faith All fiery darts of the enemy are quenched. Thank You Lord that You are our shield and the lifter of our heads. Please continue to lift our heads toward You. Let each of us feel Your protection around us in a very real way. In the name of Jesus Christ.
