  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sounds good. I haven't been feeling like adding soda, with all the sugar and all. My mainstay is scotch and bourbon but I thought I'd enjoy something lighter during the warmer months.

I picked up some tonic, lemons and limes. This should do for now.

Cigars anyone?

Do you drink them straight or with a mixer?

Cigars anyone?

Occasionally, but I'm not educated enough in this area to appreciate their differences yet. I can tell the difference between lighter cigars and deeper/darker ones, but I don't think I'm able to notice the nuances between them and judge appropriately.

I like my bourbon in a whiskey sour or mint julep when it's hot outside. During the colder months I like a splash of water, ice kills the taste, in both my scotch and bourbon.

I don't smoke cigars because it affects my running but I use to enjoy a cuban once in a while.
