pure despair...

i've gone through so much recently... a tree destroyed the roof of my bedroom during a storm back in May forcing me to sleep on the living room floor, i'm trying to find an apartment that charges rent based on low income, i lost a good friend to cancer, my uncle died, i'm on a new med (topamax), i can't get to church because i don't have a ride... all this is weighing heavily on me. i am in the pit of despair, and i pray for guidance, for peace, for hope... for the first time in my Christian walk i'm feeling really discouraged. what i'm looking for here is encouragement from people who have been there and God helped them through. your input is appreciated. God bless you all.

Sorry to hear about all thats happened to you recently. Its a constant struggle, no doubt about that. All I can really say is don't feel discouraged about being discouraged. Its hard to expect anything other than some discouragement given all you're going through. Give the new meds a little time to kick in, hopefully they'll help at least get the stress from the BP off your plate. In the mean time, feel free to reach out to anyone here if you'd like to talk further - we've all been there, even if the circumstances have been different, and things have or are turning around for many of us.

I can relate bro I am just coming out of a 2 year depression cycle but I'm not thru it yet tho the new meds are helping a lot. I have seen God answer my prayers to lift me out of that fog of depressive pain by guiding me to the right doctor and getting me on the right meds. O Lord, please help rmans1133 and do for him what you did for me and lift him out of all the despair and help him get a ride to church, in Jesus name amen.

Sorry you lost your friend and uncle. I just lost my Dad a few years ago and it still hurts some. I will be praying for you and that God will help you find the right apartment just for you. I have faith that you will come thru this with a reason to praise God for what He does for you. Blessings and hugs.
