• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need to know something: are you legally blind? I am and I have a large print bible that someone donated to me from Christian Record Services. You c an go to their site at Just look up Christian Record Services in Google, and, you will be directed to their site, and, look at the bible link, and, see what they have. I can help as well. They donate bibles to people who are wanting to get into the word of GOD, and, not just to people to keep on their shelf, and, collect dust. So, if you are serious about this, please go to the Christian Record website.

THIS IS 13 point print

A Bible in giant print is Awesome. Make sure the bible contains the books of the Apocrypha.
-----------------------------------------------
These books are part of the sacred literature forming a historical length between the Old and New Testaments. The Apocrypha is a must for the library of anyone, and everyone, seriously seeking to learn as much as possible about God's Word.
Martin Luther placed the Apocrypha in an appendix to the Old Testament in his German Bible
Perhaps one of the best kept secrets of the modern Protestant Church is that the Bible used by that body is not the original KING JAMES VERSION BIBLE. That translation, which included the Apocrypha was completed in 1611. The Bibles published where for the use of the clergy and the Church members until late in the 19th Century.

Great link!

If you use an online Bible, press control/command + on your keyboard, and the text size will increase.

There are also some plug-ins that can resize browser text... rated on Mozilla's site.

For printed Bibles, the Jerusalem Bible has a lot of white space and less clutter, so it's easier to look at.

This one might work...

NIV Thinline Bible, Large Print (New International Version)
8-point type regular edition • 11-point type large print edition

NIV Life Application® Study Bible, Large Print
Also seems to be 11 pt.

Font sizes change from screen to screen because different screens are in different resolutions. The size of the letters themselves also change from font to font - 13 point of one font may be bigger or smaller than 13 point of another font. To get a ballpark figure of what the text is going to look like on the pages, you can go into your word processor, type out a few sample lines of a few fonts, making sure they're all 13 point, and print it out.

Open a word processor and type in 13 point and print. That is the best way to view it. Viewing text on the web is not correct or accurate (because of resolution among other things). Also, fonts can look bigger or smaller at a certain point size depending on the font.
