My sister is BUGGING me to buy her a Nintendo DS...but the only gripe I have with it is the screen is SO SMALL! How can your eyes NOT go square staring at it for ages? Looks pretty stylish though...but I'm mad about the small screen. Should I?

(...she likes DS games better)...

I really like my DS and don't find the size of the screens to be a problem since most games use both of them. Some even use both screens as one. It's particularly handy on Brain Age as you can read instructions and problems from the top screen and use the touch screen for input, though you hold it sideways like a book.

I've never played a PSP so I can't comment on them.

Yeah I owned 2 psps but had to pawn them. That said get a DS they have better games IMO. I always loved nintendo's originality. They never cease to amaze. I wanna try the Wii but I like halo so maybe later.

nintendo has done something that the other consoles should try, family friendly gaming meaning everyone can play them because they are fun and simple. Not all the games are simple but I was raised on Nintendo and will die clutching a Nes controller lol

Good point! Simple games are good, as in, simple concept to grasp, but hard to solve. I reckon Nintendo has cuter games too ahaha...thanks for helping me make up my mind. My parents don't like consoles so we don't own any....sad...I think I'm the only person in the world who has never owned a Playstation or anything hahahahaah.

Nope, I don't have any consoles either. I say buy the DS, I like the PSP, but the DS is cool with the types of games that Nintendo makes. Nintendo utilizes the touch screen very well with the games that they make. Most games use both of the screens, like Mario & Luigi : Partners in time. Like I said, it's just my opinion, but I would buy a DS.
