Psa 23:3b he (the Lord Psa 23:1) leads me (David) in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

• The Crown of Righteousness 2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me (Paul) a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
• Righteousness by Faith Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace. Gal 5:5 For we (Christians) through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
• New Man is Righteousness and Truly Holy Eph 4:22 That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Eph 4:24 And that you (Christians) put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Paths of Righteousness

1. Mat 14:22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
2. Gen 7:16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
3. Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
4. Psa 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.
5. Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

For His Names Sake

1. 1Sa 12:22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.
2. 1Ki 8:41 Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;
3. Psa 31:3 For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4. Jer 20:7 KJV "O LORD, you have deceived me, and I was deceived: you are stronger than I, and have prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocks me." Jer 20:8 KJV "For since I spoke, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily."
5. Luk 21:17 And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

“The Valley” “The Shadow of Death” “Fearing No Evil”

1. Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtill than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yes, has God said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2. Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

Psa 23:4b for you (the Lord) are with me (David); your rod and your staff they comfort (me."

The Lord is With Saints

1. Deu 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
2. Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
3. Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Rod=Correction

1. Pro 23:14 You shall beat him with the rod, and shall deliver his soul from hell. Pro 23:15 My son, if your heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. Pro 23:16 Yes, my reins shall rejoice, when your lips speak right things. Pro 23:17 Let not your heart envy sinners: but be you in the fear of the LORD all the day long. Pro 23:18 For surely there is an end; and your expectation shall not be cut off.

Eph 2:19 Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: Eph 2:22 In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
3. Pro 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
