16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

But the Septuagint (translated 280 years before Christ):

17 ὅτι ἐκύκλωσάν με κύνες πολλοί, συναγωγὴ πονηρευομένων περιέσχον με, ὤρυξαν χεῖράς μου καὶ πόδας.

Also the Dead Sea Scrolls (from about the 2nd Century BCE) confirm what the LXX and KJV (and other English translations) indicate that Psalm 22:16 is correctly translated they have digged (pierced) my hands and feet.
