Protecting my sister

I was sexually assaulted by my brother from about 13 to 19.
Problem is, I have a 2 year old sister. My brother babysits her once a week and they have a good relationship. Is she at risk, or not until puberty like me?

But then, its my parents decision isnt it?

If he were not your brother would you want him babysitting your sister? He may have degenerated further and she may now be a target.

maybe he is not doing anything to your sister, but then maybe he is ... you'll probably have to talk about it with your parents and observe the relationship between your sis and bro.

I too was molested/assaulted by my brother. I don't think he should be allowed to babysit your younger sister or any other child for that matter. You say he assaulted you from 13 to 19. And you are 19?

This is so fresh. You NEED to tell your Mom and Dad. And if they don't believe you, tell someone else. Check your phonebook for sexual assault hotlines. One organization that could give you some advice is RAINN. Don't let another day go by!!

You say that your brother and sister have a good relationship. Well, please keep in mind that often Child Molesters will "groom" their victims for future abuse. They will be almost too nice and do things to win over their victims and earn their trust. Then they take advantage of them.

Searching Sister, I applaud you for wanting to protect your baby sister. I am so sorry that no one was there to protect you. Take care and update me on what is happening.
