Absolutely confusing. You cannot pin her down either way on some subjects.

Which is why her statements shouldn't be used in the main forum as the church's official positions on these subjects.

That is what I tried to point out and was almost reported for it. I was told we're not allowed to make comments on the main forum. Of course nobody ever pointed out the rule that said this.

But these and other teachings are still being posted on the main forum (including the teaching that the sins of the righteous are placed on Satan instead of Christ).

This is why it is so important to deal with EGW in a way that takes into account her many errors. If she is as the fundamental belief says an authority on truth then those errors become incorporated into Adventist doctrines. Which is why in practically all discussion of religion the discussion will ultimately come down to what EGW says. Which becomes an even bigger problem when EGW is of two or more minds herself.
