My wife and I haven't been Christians that long and still struggle at times.
Trying to forget 44years of worldly living is hard sometimes.
Believe me I can understand how you feel

Question: Do you think it's easier for a person live world from birth up till their teen years/young adult hood?

OR

Do you think it's easier if they get saved/accept God at a young age?

I have always wondered about that I think it almost opposite in a way

For the first one, by then it's hard to forget and change the way they have been living for you

But

on the otherhand sometimes when ppl get saved young not all but some want to go out there and experience how it is to live worldly. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense.Just a question though. I'll tell you why after you choose

I am not sure, in my case I find it easier than my wife because I was interested in supernatural stuff before, so I except more.
We were both saved about 1 year ago.

I would image it might be harder from a young age brought up with it all , because I know what the other is like where they can't
Trying worldly life would be sinning

Oh okay, your the first person I have ever asked that question to be always wondered.

My answer would be that they are very simlar but I think it's harder when you accept Jesus young b/c it's almost like there is a part of life that at times you miss, like you wonder what it's like at times want to experience it for yourself, like rather be able to go out there and experience life then come back but I know it's not that easy though.

I accepted God at a young age but something I realized that is when ppl accept him when they are younger they go through this stage(not all but would say most) want to know what's like out there in the world, being able to get that experience I personally at times feel that there are parts of life I miss out on and don't get to experience.

Which is something I have dealt with a few times, but I haven't really talked to anyone outside of CF about it, well one person but they don't know like the whole story behind it and all.

Interesting things was I was talking to two of my friends, one who I have known since I was about probably three years old. The other for about two years. According to both of them I am "2 good" like I don't get in enough trouble or something I know this might sound crazy... but I probably have crazy/silly friends.

At times I wish I would have accepted God later on in life, but there are times where I am happy that I accepted him when I did, sorry if this doesn't make sense to you.

Good Morning friends.

I have read over the last few pages and have seen a wonderful conversation between two generations in two different places in their walk with the Lord.
How beautiful your thoughts and suggestions are!

You know, any age has it's share of stumbles and road blocks. Taking on the mantle of Christ brings with it blessings and the over coming of evil.

It sounds as they you both have a firm grasp of this and God bless you mightily!!!!

I keep feeling tempted to ask for words from the Lord, but I know that I should not. What I really want is for God to speak directly into my life about certain things, but instead He deals with them in other ways. I want so badly, though, for someone to say, "Bella, God told me to tell you this," and have it be something that no one could know but me and the Lord.

I've struggled with this for a long time. I want to see God and know emotionally that He sees me. I feel like Hagar.

Someone here did speak to me on a specific issue that no one online could have possibly known about, but still I want more. It was an issue that I have just begun to face.

I want to see God. I want to see what is going on in the world on a spiritual level. In Church on Good Friday, I knew that there were angels there and I could almost see them, it was like I could see their shadows, but I wanted to see them so badly.

It isn't just because I want proof or power, I long to see God the way that a beloved longs for her lover.

This post has no real connecting theme except for my struggling and longing.

What is missing in many Christian's lives is the sanctification experience. This is what settles this issue for those who are brought up in the church. Without pursueing sanctification , many do backslide.

My spirit is troubled today. There is a bad spirit here on this thread today. Who needs to repent of something ?
I say amen to that. I have felt that for some time..in fact, that person needs to go back to words that were given and they disqualified it, saying it wasn't for them.

Anyway, Yitzchak...I hear you had supper with Pops! Friday! I heard what happened at church! PRAISE GOD! Neat ey?
