Out of the 100+ warnings in the NT,
there are about 20 which obviously
are warning of losing salvation!
Only approximately 20.
Butski, how many does a person need?

Please allow me to repeat myself:
The Word (to be "called" Jesus) came
to FREE BACs from sin's bondage!
They are FREE and able to NOT sin!

That's the main reason why He came!

The power of sin is the law(of righteousness) 1Cor15:56

So God did an amazing thing, he transferred the law he desires you to follow from an external law written on tablets of stone, to an internal law written on tablets of human hearts(2Cor3:3&Heb10:16&17)

Because, and only because that has happened: Your sins and lawless deeds will be remembered no more(Heb10:17)

Righteousness of observing the law can only be removed for the believer, if Jesus died for all their sins, past, present and future.

By Jesus dying for your sins, he removed sins true power from your life(righteousness of obeying the law)

The born again Christians heartfelt desire to obey(for that is where the law has been placed) can now come to fruition, for what opposes obedience(sin) was dealt a crushing blow by Christ dying to remove its true power from the believers life(righteousness of obeying the law)

And so Paul states: Do we then nullify the law by this faith(a righteousness of faith in Christ, not obeying the law) Not at all! Rather we uphold the law Rom3:31

Amen sister One thing I would like to point out is if we keep Jesus’ two commandments we are keeping all of the commandments and demands of the prophets. Remember Jesus said

“The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:40‬

I believe we are no longer under the letter of the law but instead the purpose of which that law was written. The purpose of all the laws fall into two categories. Either loving and honoring God or loving others. I believe this is why we no longer are obligated to keep the Saturday Sabbath and have the freedom to honor God on any day of the week so long as we do honor Him. Although personally I do prefer Sunday as it is The Lord’s Day. Technically if we are walking in the Spirit we honor Him everyday.

Can you please give some examples in scripture of losing salvation by stumbling in sin? I have been unsuccessful at living 100% free of sin. Every Christian I know says the same. Are you able to live 100% free from sin?

Over and over and over again ... people say this!
Even after they have been told the truth that
sincere repentance solves the problem of sin!
E.G. see 1 John 1:7-9
IF a person truly is born-again, he/she can overcome.
IF repentance is sincere, we will run from the sin.
IF we love Jesus, we will obey His commandments.

Please answer my question my friend do you still sin?
Yes, but when I do, I repent of it.
When I commit a different sin, I repent of that.
This is having the correct heart attitude,
which is acceptable to the Lord.

Amen my friend so even tho we are freed from the bondage of sin we will still stumble and must repent to continue our walk in the Spirit.

I guiess it comes down possibly to your born again experience. The law is in my heart, the Spirit of the living God put it there. If I follow my flesh, and go against the law in my heart, my conscience is seered. I then have no rest or peace, nor will I have any until I come before my Father in Heaven and tell him I am sorry for how I acted. So for me, as surely as night follows day I will always tell God I am sorry when need to, for I cannot bear to remain in the state I am in when I err. Maybe I am unique in this regard

I agree that the church is in a deplorable state. But the solution is not to give dire warnings, it is to preach the love of God.
The only people Jesus gave hard warnings to were those self-righteous Pharisees.
But to women caught in adultery and tax collectors and others like that He had nothing but love.

I got this far.
It was horrible teaching.
Repentance is the solution to sin.
Jesus Christ is and always has been the solution to sin.
The goodness of God leads you to repentance. He gave us Jesus Christ.
You think the wrath of God will lead people to repentance. That is not what God's Word says. Romans 2:4

Out of the 100+ warnings in the NT,
there are about 20 which obviously
are warning of losing salvation!
Only approximately 20.
Butski, how many does a person need?
Jesus said those who receive eternal life will never perish. John 10:28
Paul said we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption as soon as we believe. Ephesians 1:14
So, when you see verses that seem to say that it is possible to lose salvation, you should look at it again.
There are no contradictions in the Bible.

Please allow me to repeat myself:
The Word (to be "called" Jesus) came
to FREE BACs from sin's bondage!
They are FREE and able to NOT sin!

That's the main reason why He came!
The main reason Jesus came was so we could have a relationship with God again and sin was in the way.
So Jesus took the sin of the world away.

Greetings, Mr. Melven ...

These days, Father God and the Lord Jesus both are giving quite harsh warnings to Their prophets and watchmen, which, of course, are supposed to be passed along to members of the churches who think they’re going to heaven. Here’s an excerpt from one of them
(it’s easy to remember):
“shepherds leading multitudes to hell”.

The woman and the tax collectors were not born-again.
Yes, the unsaved need to be treated differently
than wayward BACs!

John 10:27-28 … Do you hear Jesus voice?
… Does He know you? … Do you follow Him?

Ephesians and Colossians were written
by Paul to “the faithful” in those churches!
Any idea what that means?

And these shepherds that are leading people to hell are the ones whose preaching focuses on the wrath of God.
If you want sin to decrease among Christians stop preaching the law.

NO!
These pastors are teaching greasy grace,
no accountability, OSAS, etc. usually
because they care more:
--- for the praises of men than those of God!
--- for money than anything else!
and etc.

Imagine a child being raised by parents who, if they infringed the rules threw them out of the house and would not let them back in until they earnestly repented. Horrifying isn't it? Yet that is how some preach God treats his children

Good bye.
I was raised in a church considered ''fundamentalist/charasmatic''. The core membership were immaculately dressed on a Sunday, the women wearing expensive hats. The Holy Spirit was stressed as was righteous living to a high degree. The bible was stressed to be the inerrant word of God and you must accept all of it. The church believed it was the only true church of the first century in the town, and the other churches needed to be where they were at. T
It never occurred to me, when I was young that any of the members could be putting on an act on Sundays, what I saw at church was exactly how they lived their lives 24/7. What I saw on the outside, was perfectly replicated on the inside. I grew up believing they were virtually sinless people/perfect in their flesh. I knew I was not, for on the inside, the law relating to the inner man I was far from perfect. I used to sit at home alone at times, wondering what was wrong with me, why could I not be as perfect as I perceived the others in my church to be? For they always gave the perfect scriptural response to anything in conversation. I began to think I must be the worst, most worthless Christian who ever lived, because of my imperfections on the inside. I feared hell due to these imperfections, and the more I feared hell because of them the worse they got.
I didn't deserve it(no one does), but a few years later God opened my eyes to the truth. And when I finally read past the gospels, I discovered that, the fundamentalist church of my youth, that said it stood inerrantly on the full word of God had never preached from the pulpit the core Gospel message of Paul.
It is a mystery to me, that people who so stress the Holy Spirit do not understand that message.

Do some of you actually believe that
God is only a God of love? How deceived you are!
Just for starters, the NT warns us that He chastises
those of His own who rebel, disobey, backslide, etc.
Truly, many many have been horrified at how asleep
the churches are today!
And WOW, I myself have found a couple of sleepy kids!
