CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was very sexually active as a young teen. I was sleeping with her long before the prom. We ended up getting married....but thats besides the point.
I'm doing more than my parents did to educate my children in the evils of premarital sex... not just the fact that it's a sin, but all the bad things that can happen as well.

nope ~~~ I went with a friend from the Marines. I was more interested in showing him off in his dress blues. He sure did look handsome and definately stood out in the crowd.

No, I didn't either. I went with a girl from a rival school and the guys were a little jealous. It was fun to just go and have a good time. We went together both years.

I went to my junior and it was a real comedy of errors. We got lost several times on the way there, arrived waaaay late, left early, and my date's car broke down in my friend's driveway...his parents had to come get us and take me home...He was just a friend, it was not at all romantic, I only wish it had been a little more fun too.
On the night of my senior prom I babysat a kid with chicken pox instead, and then tried to catch up with my brother's anti-Prom party but I could not find them (they were supposed to be at an ice cream parlor, but they left early).
