Who are some of the great members here ? Long time members and posters with large followings and/or reputations ?

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just because people are popular does not mean they are good. It just means they believe what others believe.... and look at our society today. Is it getting better. No. Besides the internet. A lot can be made up. A total fake person which threads etc can be made up. It all can be made up - just to persuade large groups of people.

The ability to deceive is very great with the internet. People who have numerous kids, going to school and having posts in he tenth's of a thousands....something is not right. People who claim they run businesses and are often posting - something is not right. I was attacked on another forum for posting too much. I can assure you it is nothing compare to what I see with some people. Something is not right.

If you have the power to follow someone around internet wise and know everything about them. I mean you are in their computer, such as "LOGMEIN "kind of. I "follow" people around that I find interesting but I am talking about the "LOGMEIN." You have the power to manipulate their lives. I don't have the power to "LOGMEIN"..... I don't have the technology capability. It makes the power one sided. And that is a scary thing.
