Progressive subforum Moderator elections

Good morning friends,

Since I now have confirmation from Admin that electing Moderators specifically for a subforum is possible, over this weekend I will get the elections for the progressive subforum organized.


Sorry for the delay in this. I had asked for confirmation from two different sources, but received no response. I now have written confirmation that the election is legitimate.

I nominate tall73 and note his excellent qualifications to be a progressive SDA moderator. tall73 is a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and has the right leadership experience to resolve disputes between bickering childish Adventists. Also, because tall73 has no relevant understanding of Daniel and Revelation and demonstrates sufficient unbelief in the foundations of the Adventist movement, then it's more than fair that he should be labeled "progressive."

So far, we have two nominees who have accepted, I believe--StormyOne and RC_NewProtestants. I guess we'll need to confirm that they are still willing to take on the responsibility.

Well we will see how my appeal comes out. Frankly with some of the way the moderators have acted including some of our long time mods I have to wonder what the training does to them.

Yes, please get this thing done already. I am so sick and tired of the nonsense going on right now. The forum is a complete joke and this will be our only place where we can enjoy freedom in our dialogue while this pathetic rule system is being implemented.

And, since a certain petty individual is seeing fit to bump my post reports so I get banned (how predictable and sad, but I knew she would start doing it at some point), this will soon be the only place I can dialogue.

Seriously, I am already on staff, but since I am a supermod, I can help in many different congregational forums as needed. I would be happy to help in the PSDA sub-forum with training and assisting the new mods if you all want me to.

You mean I won't have to regress to an 8th grade language level and I won't have to assume that of 5 possible interpretations the one least likely and possibly inflammatory has to be the meaning? I don't know there must be something that makes them super sensitive. the picture of a anti masturbation device from the 1800's was deemed to have too much sexual content for the article to be posted with that picture from the museum article. And the mod's just flocked on that one as if it was from a smut magazine. Who knows what spasms of puritanism they would have gone through if they saw some of Kellogg's contraptions.

Reminds me of an interesting article I saw in the paper today where a church posted a banner next to their sign. All the banner says is "sex" and people are upset. Good grief on most applications there is the word "sex" and you are supposed to circle M or F. Apparently to some people anything is dirty.
