I would propose a new game.We have all seen movies that pack profound spiritual and sociological messages. I will give 20,000 blessings for your reviews of movies of all genres that spoke to your heart about what God is doing in the Earth, or sociological messages that impacted you. Here are the rules.

2 Only one movie review per person per day
3 Review like this. Give the gist of the movie,, Main actor(s), and the message.
4 Any one may comment on another posters movie and earn 1,000 blessings but you need to review a different movie to earn the 20,000 blessings

Left Behind- Drama

starring kirk cameron, brad johsnon, and clarence gilyard

Kirk Cameran plays buck willians a television reporter who while in israel witnessed it being attacked from the air and suddenly finds himeself in the story of his life when millions of people around the world vanish.
Brad johnson plays Rayfaord steele who is an airline pilot who is aboard and flying a plane where many are missing from the plane, later learning that his son and his wife are also amon the missing.
Clarence Gilyard plays pastor bruce barnes who preached of jesus every sunday but finally finds himself left behind and knowing that he was left behind because he really didnt believe.
Buck, rayford, and pastor barnes all become believers and work together to reach others with the truth who are being decieved bt the antichrist nicolae carpathia.

i enjoyed this movie and it moved me to think how many actually will be left behind because they do not believe and how those who are left behind, some will become believers and work hard to have others become believers before it is too late. that they will truly be given a second chance.

The message we can take from it is this: this world is not our world. This reality is not our reality. We serve a higher power, and we fight, every day, to make this reality more like His kingdom.

The Bucket List
Stars Jack Nicholsen,Morgan Freeman

I just know this film made me cry and realize our lives are short and after I watched this I made a Bucket List. I'm not sure it spoke to me internally about God but they do discuss faith. Freeman's charachter says “I just have faith.” His peace with upcoming death is more serene than Jack N's charachter.
Edward: We live. We die. And the wheels on the bus go round and round.

Carter: What if you’re wrong?

Edward: I’d love to be wrong. If I’m wrong, I win. (both laugh)

Carter: I’m not sure it works that way.

Edward: Well, you’re not claiming you know something I don’t.

Carter: Mm-mm. I just have faith

I finally saw Bucket List. Yes it was very touching. I love to see Jack Nicholson playing sensitive roles. I liked As Good as it gets too. Morgan Freeman is a master of the dramatic.

Lord of the Rings
Starring: Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, Viggo Mortensen

I think that LOTR has a major Christian-esq message. From good and evil, right and wrong, to temptation and redemption. Overall good won in the end but not without a major fight. And I think thats the message that it's suppose to give is that all good things are done with a fight with bad things. Also, Frodo finally got to the mountain to throw in the ring, but he was SO tempted to keep it, it was overcoming him. But Sam talked him out of it, almost like how God talks to us when we are tempted with something so overpowering. Also Gollum I think is the best example of a human even though he was a creature. He was so torn between being good and bad, and it ate him up inside and I think that's what sin does to people sometimes.

The NoteBook
Starring: ryan gosling, rahel,mcadams,james garner, and gena rowlands

this movie is about a man who lovingly reads and shares the love story of a couple to his precious wife of many years who is battling bouts of forgetfulness. The story is about them and how they fell in love, were separted by others and yet found eahother again and spent the rest of their lives together and in the end they die together. it is a real tear jerker movie and a box of tissues is recommended at all times during viewing.
This movie moved me and touched my very being and brought with it that there is true lasting love out there and that nothing and know one can ever get in the way of it.
