  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am horrible at procrastinating in school. I'll be doing something and then be like yeah i can do this later, then i forget about it and never finish. I hate it. I just wish i could get organized. This is my last year of high school too. How do you guys stay organized and on top of things? I've never really been good at it, i do make good grades but i am struggling in some of my classes mainly precal and AP Biology.

Well, when I was in high school I was like you.Although the teachers said to the students to study every day,it was rare a student that studied every day.
But I suggest you to study at least 2 hours every day.
But now it's rare when I procastinate , because if I procastinate I'll lose my semester in the college.

Bye.

your the same as me really. Exactly like me in the sense that this as well is my last year of high school. I'm doing 1 AP course this year and man am I ever not doing good in it. I tend to put off a lot of school work as well but for the most part this year so far it has not been a worry or anything as of yet.

I use to be kind of like that, although I was homeschooled so I was reminded by my Mom all the time :) Now I'm in my first year of college and am finally getting better about not putting things off...I still like to do other things when I'm supposed to be doing homework but I usually get it done in time. The easiest way for me to remember things is to just write them down and put them somewhere on my wall where I can see them clearly whenever I walk by. Best wishes! :)
