Pro omnibus et singulis

[Mysterium_Fidei]

After Mass, our priest says something in Latin, to which we servers reply; omnibus et singulis.

Does anyone know where this prayer comes from?

When I was an altar boy -anyway in NO Mass-, my old priest (very old) used to say, when we were back in sacristy, used to say: Gratiam agimus (Lets give thanks)
And we answered "for you and for all" (omnibus and singulis)
