Pro life... vs pro-abort-the-baby.

It is confusion over the value of the baby - the value of a human life.

In the 1860's there was also "confusion" over the value of human life. We call it "slavery". That pro-slavery argument in the 1860's did not "age" so well as it turned out.

The pro-abort-the-baby arguments will not "age" so well either.

It sounds like the pro-choicers set up the rally and got the necessary permits. You even admit it was their rally.
So when counter-protesters crash a rally ready to rumble they are the ones at fault.
If pro-choicers crash and heckle the March for Life, same thing.

Wonder if all those George Floyd protestors applied for permits?

Wonder if ANTIFA applies for permits?

Better yet. Wonder if the protesters in front of Supreme Court Justices homes apply for permits?

We know for a fact that these groups are not Promise Keepers where the grounds are cleaned and in better shape than when they arrive and go home. Heaven knows, activists can't be clean and respectful at the same time.

Only applies when it supports an agenda. This is not Japan, permits are not issued at times and there is never a time line such as Japan has. "You may protest between 1PM and 5PM. After that leave ....or the riot police will beat you to the footsteps of the nearest hospital.

In my own community, I have participated in several progressive rallies (DACA, Parkland, etc.) I did not participate in the Bans Off Our Bodies rally, but we have always gotten permits.
One reason why we got permits is because we have needed police protection, particularly with Parkland. Just an hour away, alt-right counter protesters sat up in trees in sniper rifles, having to be surveilled by drones and helicopters by the local police force.
We progressives are under continuous threat for exercising our first amendment rights, because we don't go to protests ready to rumble, locked and loaded. Our protests are peaceful, and the idea that domestic terrorists would go up in trees with sniper rifles to threaten us is the antithesis of what America should be.
I feel sure that all over America the Bans Off Our Bodies marchers got permits. Progressives believe in the political process. They don't take shortcuts. They won't be scaling the walls of the capitol and hanging politicians in effigy.
Not every conservative counter protester is a domestic terrorist, but you and I both know that there are a small number of anti-abortion radicals. Clinics have been bombed. A pro-choice legislator was murdered while serving as an usher in his mainline Protestant Kansas church.
Why shouldn't marchers get permits and the free police protection that comes with it? Their lives might depend on it.

And when pro-choices have disrupted pro-life rallies, (who also had permits) and even use violence, that's barely mentioned in the news.

As it is, pro-abortionists protested outside of the home of Justice Kavanaugh which is illegal, and one threatened to murder him.

A Harvard Professor has called on proabortion supporters to harass justices.

“these justices should never have a peaceful moment in public again,” calling the conservative justices “pariahs.” Leftist Harvard Prof. Wants SCOTUS Justices to Be Harassed - Headline USA

They're far from being peace loving sweethearts. :D

Somehow that pales to the image of snipers in trees and drones and helicopters surveilling them a few miles up the interstate from me.

If you lived where I lived, you would realize that domestic terrorists are all over the place (I have related how I gave piano lessons to the granddaughter of a cult leader investigated by the FBI for his close relationship to the OKC bombers.) I knew someone else whose father-in-law was a domestic terrorist who was in prison for about ten years, and when she married his son (as a naive teenager) they had to go on the run, using false identities, for years. We met in a twelve step group so obviously she was working on the issues it probably caused her (and she told me the story of her FIL outside of the twelve step group.)

Living in the peace and quiet of the NYC suburbs until I was 40, where no one owned guns, meeting all these terrorist-relatives here was tremendously scary. BTW, I have never met a progressive who resorted to violence, climbed trees with sniper rifles, etc.

Would I carry a weapon to protect myself against these people? No. I have just tried to heighten my intuition to see the tell-tale signs of this dysfunction.

Snipers in trees?

They're not prolife if that happens at all.

No they were not pro-lifers. The rally was a gun reform rally. But there have been violent people who infiltrated the pro life movement--bombers, murderers.

Individuals who commit crime, which are condemned by the prolife organizations
and religions.

Since the Roe V Wade issue was leaked, Catholic Churches have been vandalized and priests threatened.

It's reported just about every other day, just here in the US.
Canada has had several churches set on fire.

As I said, they were infiltrators.

The snipers belonged to.two recognized terror groups as reported in the news.

When well-intentioned groups unite with the alt-right to achieve their goals, they are in danger of infiltration.

I've never heard the news report about right-wing snipers in trees.

Did you make this up?

No. It happened about a month after Parkland, in Rogers, Arkansas or perhaps Bentonville or Springdale.
I think it was carried on TV, too. The groups were from Russellville and maybe Harrison (birthplace of the KKK.)

You have a source for this claim?

I never heard of snipers hiding in trees taking shots at people.

No shots were taken because the police department was running drones and helicopters to prevent them from doing anything. And that is why I said we welcome getting permits because that means the police will be buy because I live in a part of the country where domestic terrorism is more common--up on mountaintops and in the country in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

I tried to go back in a private FB group I belong to, NWA Moms Demand Action, but I couldn't get back to 2018.

Here's one article that mentions the alt-right groups the Hiwayman and Shield Wall network and how police were stationed on rooftops and surveilling with drones, but nothing more. I remember the people with sniper rifles from a Russellville alt-right group very clearly--how would I forget anything like that? I will have to look further. This is a newspaper story, TV stations might be better.

VIDEO, PHOTOS: Hundreds participate in peaceful NWA March For Our Lives events

On the other hand, in a place like here, people are desensitized to the dangerous radicals in their midst, so it might not have made as big an impression on me as it did on the news channels.

I flew out of Tulsa years ago and had to go through one of those body scanners. "Tulsa and OKC got them first," the TSA agent told me. "Because this is where we had the bombing."

While I don't attend rallies on abortion for either side, the local domestic terrorists would probably not find a group of young pro-choice women as threatening as a group of anti-gun activists.

Harvard Professor needs to be removed from class. There are Federal Laws protecting Supreme Court Justices. Too bad that Garland has set himself up for impeachment hearings.

Snipers in trees .....
