  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Private Revelation? What, Why, and Where to Start:

Private revelation is often a very confusing topic for Christians and especially Catholics. People can easily get caught up in the weeds trying to figure out what is real, who is trustworthy, and what they have time to actually learn about. Many Catholics will steer clear from it all together - focusing on just the tradition and scripture of the Catholic Church. Is this the right way to go? Well, we certainly believe that the private revelations of holy saints and mystics who came before us offer much to gain.

Read this guide to learn about our favorite private revelation books in our collection. These four books are a great starting point for stepping into this area of our Catholic faith.

Prefer to learn about our favorite private revelation books more visually? Watchalong as Keevin talks to John, co-owner of Leaflet Missal, about his favorites and the purpose of private revelation.
