Appearance: Conrad is a little taller than this brother, Bohden, but for the most part they have the same build. Both with broad shoulders and sturdy back. Conrad's eyes are also blue, but more of a cobalt blue and can almost seem purple at times depending on what he wears. His hair is light brown with some lighter streaks on the top from being out in the sun so much; and unlike his brother, it's a little longer and has a slight curl to it, making it unruly at times. He's clean-shaven and still has the more angular features inherent in the Vasska family with a strong jaw and higher cheekbones, but he is not as plain as his brother. In fact, most would describe him as handsome, with a quick smile (with a small dimple on his right cheek when he does) and a very slight indent in his chin, though not enough to be called a cleft chin. He also has a small scar on his left cheek near his eye that is plainly visible.
His clothing style is that of a prince with fine fabrics and silks, just like his brother. However, he prefers to dress more casually than the king. Most often he'll simply go around in his shirt and waistcoat over his breeches or pants. And he enjoys boots as he finds they're more sturdy for activities. He wears a sabre with the royal seal on it at his right hip, as he is left-handed, and a small pistol on his left hip, a dagger strapped most times to his left boot.
Personality: Conrad is almost the complete opposite of his brother. He's outgoing and can charm just about anyone simply with his personality. He loves to laugh and to make others laugh, and to have adventures. He smiles much of the day and likes to find humor in even the most disturbing circumstances. While this can sometimes come across as insensitive, he really isn't. He can be serious when the occasion calls for it, but would much prefer to be out having fun or having some kind of adventure. He could be called a bit of a thrill-seeker and likes doing dangerous, and sometimes not so smart, activities. He is loyal and can be bluntly honest at times. But he also tends to procrastinate. This can sometimes be seen as neglect of his duties as prince of Adherin, but he can be counted on to get a job done...in his own time. One thing many people do not know about him, however, is that he strives to distance himself from his title. He hates the facades that people put on around him when they know he is a prince, and he can't stand being sought after as a husband simply because he has inherited quite a large sum of the family fortune after his father's death and because he's a prince. Sometimes, because of all the fake, plastic attitudes and smiles around him, he feels very lonely.
Baackground: Growing up as the second-born son of the previous king, Conrad's life was somewhat different than Bohden's. While Bohden was being groomed to be king, there were times when Conrad was forgotten by his parents. Not entirely, of course. They made certain he was taken care of and that he got the proper training and education for being a prince, but focused a lot of their time and energy on the future king...Bohden. As a child, he was generally well behaved, though he had a more rambunctious side to him than his brother did, and would quite often hear the phrase, "Why can't you be more like your brother?" because of it. He was always getting into some kind of mischief and even then loved to have advantures. And even though this rambunctious side continued into his teen and adult years, he was still generally well thought of and liked due to his charm and personality.
As Conrad got older and became a man, his father made him into a dignitary and began sending him to other countries to promote relations between them and Adherin. He took his responsibilities seriously while negotiations and meetings and parties were held for him there. But after his business had been conducted? Conrad would most often go out on his own within the country to explore. He loved traveling and seeing all the different ways of life...and ways he could have some adventure. He has traversed jungles and gotten spears thrown at him by natives, he's climbed mountains and cliffs, he's gone sailing in treacherous oceans and even had the nerve to swim with a few sharks as just a few examples. He also collects things from his travels. Souvenirs that he brings back with him and stores in his room in the castle. And when he's done having his adventures, he travels back home so that he can receive his next assignment. However, most often this is weeks after he was supposed to have returned and is generally why he is thought of to be careless with his duties and often got chewed out by his father for it; and now that his brother is king, he will get the same from Bohden. And even though his charm and personality really doesn't work on his brother anymore, he is still family and does do a good job as a diplomat, so Bohden continues to use him as such...when he's around. In fact, it is now the first time Conrad has been home in quite a few years.
