As I promised in the introduction of this series we shall now prove from Scripture that Christ was prophesied to die after 5,500 Years according to the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant, and the 70 Weeks of Daniel. I have also gone over the numbers given here at great length in my blog and elsewhere in this forum and will leave the links to them below.
Beginning with God's instruction to Moses concerning the Ark of the Covenant:
“They shall construct an ark of acacia wood two and a half cubits long, and one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high."
Exodus 25:10 NASB1995
The sum of these dimensions is 5.5 Cubits and are equal to the 5,500 Years from Adam to Christ as shown below:

So we have exhaustively proven that the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant are equivalent to the 5,500 Years from Adam to Christ. We will finally do the same with the prophecy of Daniel's 70 Weeks:
“70 weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place. So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be 7 weeks and 62 weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. Then after the 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined."
Daniel 9:24-26 NASB1995
In the beginning Gabriel informs Daniel that there are 70 Weeks/490 Years determined for Israel and Jerusalem. He continues further by stating that from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple to the Messiah (i.e. Yeshua) are 69 Weeks/483 Years, but why does Gabriel divide them into 7 Weeks/49 Years and 62 Weeks/434 Years? Because the Temple and Jeruslaem will be rebuilt within 49 Years and this is fulfilled when Ezra tells us that Cyrus was the first to give this decree, and he also writes that the Temple was finished along with the city in the 6th Year of Darius. The implications of this prophecy means that many of the kings of Persia have their reigns overlapping with one of the four Persian kings spoken of by Scripture:
1) 43 Years (37 - Cyrus & 6 Years - Artaxerxes/Ahasuerus/Xerxes)
2) 38 Years (Darius)
3) 32 Years (Artaxerxes)
4) 6 Years (Darius)
Therefore from the 11th Year of king Solomon when he completed the first Temple in the year 4516 AM to its destruction by king Nebuchadnezzar in the year 4947 AM are 430 Years. And from the 1st Year of Cyrus the Perisan in the year 5017 AM to the 111th Olympiad when Alexander of Macedon became king of the world in the year 5136 AM are 119 Years. From the completion of the second Temple by Zorobabel to Alexander are 70 Years. From its completion to its destruction by Titus Vespasian in the year 5540 AM/70 AD are 474 Years. But from the decree of Cyrus to the death of Christ are 483 Years, and 523 Years to the destruction of the second Temple.
It is clear that God's Word never comes back void once it has left His mouth, but will instead fulfill what He has spoken to the very letter.
