Pregnancy Before Marriage!

Hey all!

Well I don't really know if this post should be here but I really need some advice off people!

I am 16 years old and am a real big christian and im a guy! I love God soo much and everything is fantastic in my life!! My whole family are christians.. except one, my 18 year old sister.

Whilst I was in the car with my mom, and my sister was gettin us a meal from McDonalds I decided to flick through her text messages on her phone, (I know i shouldn't but I like to know whats going on in her life) and I found a text saying to her friend she is going to be a mammy soon!!

I just didnt know how to react... I was really upset, this is a big sin but i sopose the best thing is that she doesnt want to get rid of the baby, as the Bible says, All life is sacred and given by God.

Am I over reacting by being upset?

I sopose also the worst thing is, her and her boyfriend probably wont last long and she will be a single parent.

Please let me know what you all think!

are you sure she wasnt talking about a school project or getting a new pet or something? i mean, seriously...we have to look at all angles before we jump to conclusions.

if you are really sure that you didnt maybe misunderstand the message, then i would suggest you pray about it, seek God about what to say or do and then do whatever He says. pray for her, pray for the baby, and your parents and her boyfriend.... a lot goes into having babies, especially when they are out of wedlock.

I agree, pray about it. Are you upset anytime she sins? While this sin has bigger earthly consequences, it truly is no worse than any other sin. If she is pregnant she is going to have MUCH bigger problems than how you feel about her. She is gonig to need loads of supprt and grace.

I agree - you should find out if you are right before you take any action at all. If you think that you are and she's not getting prenatal care, that could be bad. But for a few weeks at least, see if you really think you know what you're talking about before you spill the beans to anyone.
