  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thats an interesting prediction. Most I've seen just predict boy/girl.

Well, i think I'll just go with what I hope for

Gender: Boy (I have strong reasons to believe it is one)
Early/Late: Please please a wee bit early or right on time
Weight: Em ... I dunno, whats a good one? lol
Height: Totally lost
Length of Labour: 30 minutes would be nice
:o)
{I suppose you can tell this is my first baby!!lol}

Stay Blessed.
Mexy.

I'm having a girl (confirmed by ultrasound yesterday - yay!!)

Due date November 18, I guess she'll be about 2 weeks early.

As for size, I'm guessing less than 3.5 kg (so maybe about 7.5 pounds)

I have no idea about her length, I don't even know what normal is!

Labour time in hospital... let's say 5 hours. Although there my genetics may help me, mom & grandma both gave birth super easy, mom was born in the hospital foyer!

LOL I notice everyone, except Mrs. A2J said early... and she only said two days late. Do you think we are all optimistic? The only reason I said 3 days early was because David was 11 days early, and I ovulated this time 5 days late so I figure 3 days early might be about right if the baby is baked the same length of time. :D

I said early because my mother and Aunt had their babies early and I happen to be very inpatient. Then again, this kid could take after his Dad and put off leaving until the last possible second and I could end up with a Halloween baby!

I have the this really cute really warm, Halloween sleeper which is newborn size...can he wear it a couple days late? :p

Only one of my babies has been late- four days...(Linnis- she was born on Oct. 24th!) The rest have been early or on time.

I personally don't care so much if I'm late, unless I'm really hurting- it's way easier having them inside than out.

My daughter was 5 days late so I figure baby number 2 stands a chance of being a little earlier than that. I don't want this baby to be early because my hubby works away from home and will probably work as close to the due date as possible so I would hate for the baby to decide to come early and he miss it.

Gender: Girl, because I really, really want another girl. :)

Early/late: At least a week late because I've NEVER had a baby less than a week late. I'm hoping for 2 weeks (like my youngest) so this will be a January baby and not a Christmas baby. (Due Dec. 20th.)

Weight: Around 7 pounds. My babies have been trending smaller and smaller each time, but I can't imagine a 2 week late baby being under 7 pounds.

Height: About 20 inches. That's the average for my kids.

Length of Labor: 2 hours. My labors have been trending shorter, and my last was 45 minutes, but I think about 2 hours sounds ideal.

LOL! I wanted my CHristmas baby born before the end of the year- so I could claim her on my taxes. It was the only time I thought I would ever actually concede to being induced :) SHe was born Dec 19th....so we were good.

My kids all wanted her to come on Christmas Day--in the afternoon, after presents-before dinner ...LOL!!!
