But that would be going against god's desire and his will that these be part of his sining list. Investing humans with sin he pretty much made sure these acts would necessarily occur. So as content as YOU might be to see the two disappear it would obviously not please god to see mankind triumph over his efforts to make stealing and killing dominant sins; although, I suppose if you replaced them with something else, or maybe elevated other sins to the level of stealing and killing, it may satisfy him.To be honest, I would be content if people just stopped stealing and murdering. Imagine that!
Agreed. So, why is this not occurring?
Because, like YOU, the majority of the people in the world don't think it matters what folks adhere to.
How are you gonna talk out both sides of your neck and say you agree that the world would be a better place if people were trying to make the type of world Jesus wants, yet in post after post including this one, example that you don't know what Jesus wants?
You display a contempt for the way of Christ because you think you've come up with something better. All you're doing is cryptically trying to advance the same false teaching that the rest of the relative humanists are.
To be honest, I would be content if people just stopped stealing and murdering. Imagine that!
I have a question for you:I agree.
Altering the definition of marriage and abortion for convenience are clearly things to hope would stop.
One can only imagine anymore.
The definition of marriage has always been fluid so you have no basis to keep using only your personal preference of it.I agree.

As the title suggests.
I personally see the world as being so diverse that, to me, it still remains a place of interest in which to live. I don't much involve myself in who is 'straight' or who is 'gay', who is married or who is unmarried, who has children and who doesn't have children, who is this Christian denomination or who is that Christian denomination or who is no Christian denomination at all, who is fat or who is thin or who is 'normally' built, who dis/likes this kind of food or that kind of food, who believes in a God/Allah,Buddha or who doesn't believe in a God/Allah, Buddha, etc. etc.
We don't live in a world of programmed robots. And this, surely, is the way that a Creator would have intended it to be. Yet, many Christians DO seem to prefer the 'robot' principle. They would have it that EVERYONE in the world adhere to the unswayable principles that THEY have created within their own minds as per the oftentimes misinterpreted/mistaught words of the Bible. To many of them they see the world in black and white (the words from the Bible) and make few allowances, if any, for any shades of gray. Unfortunately it's oftentimes a glaring case of do as I say but not necessarily do as I do. This results in confusion and even anger and frustration for many because the Christian is generally cryptic about the kind of world that is supposedly 'the Christian ideal'. They hear words that are too often meaningless coming out of the mouths of professed Christians. These type Christians - and there are MANY of them - are basically saying that, unless one believes as they do (whatever THAT might entail), that unless one is basically a carbon-copy of themselves, then one is responsible for pretty well messing up this planet.
Please don't be so cryptic. What kind of a world IS the ideal for the supposed Bible-adhering Christian? I'm asking because I have no idea.
Well KC not one of your usual questions, but a very challenging one. I ask but why just a "Christian World that is being strived for"?
I know that if you were to look at other religions or look at the atheism creed or whatever they want to call it.
The majority of people World wide want no killing, theft, even death. I am sure most people want happiness, peace, contentment. Not just Christians. .
