  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have MS but have been doing well for years, or so I thought. I stopped seeing my neurologist a few years ago because I felt fine, except for some symptoms I didn’t know could be MS related. Now I think that maybe they are. Among other things, I’ve had two episodes in the past month where 1) I couldn’t get up off the floor from putting my socks on and hubby had to help me up. My legs wouldn’t support me, and 2) another one where I couldn’t get out of bed….arms were too weak and couldnt roll over and sit up. I have an appointment with a Neurology NP later this week. It’s kind of early in the day, at a time I’m usually not up yet and I’m anxious I’ll have a panic attack and anxious about what the NP is going to say or do to me. Please pray for me that this is all MS related and not something even worse and please pray I get through the appointment without freaking out. Thanks in advance.

May Jesus comfort you in all your afflictions.

May He sustain you in dangers, watch over you

always with His grace, and indicate the safe path

that leads to eternal salvation. And may He render

you always dearer to His Divine Heart and always

more worthy of Paradise. Amen

Prayers for a good appointment with good results and that God lays His healing Hands upon you and grants you your health. Mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Thank you so much. I’m so afraid of going, AND afraid of having a panic attack. By this time tomorrow, it’ll be all over.

Continued prayers Faith! :praying:
Thanks. She told me the disease is progressing but the last MRI didn’t indicate new lesions, which is good. I have muscle weakness and my right leg is weaker than my left, but she said I‘d only need a cane if I continue to fall. Overall I need to take better care of myself and she ran Vitamin D and B12 blood tests. I’ve been deficient in both before which one or both is common with MS. I’ll get those results back probably tomorrow. Thanks again for the prayers!
