Prayers that I be more grateful

I've been sort of struggling with anger towards modernists, and how they've robbed me of the Faith and it's spiritual medicine for so long. After going through a disgustingly sinful life, and then enduring a modernist RCIA, it struck me that all this time the Catholic Church had the medicine to free me from this living hell I was in and yet the modernists were doing everything to ensure that myself and others didn't get it.

After brooding for awhile, someone pointed out that I did receive the medicine and am now free from that life. That God saved me, specifically through His Blessed Mother, and that I should be grateful.

I am grateful, I come really far, I've stopped mortal sinning, I'm doing my 33 Day Marian Consecration, I've learned a lot about the faith. Can you pray that I stopped getting so angry and start becoming more grateful to God and Our Blessed Mother for saving me and bringing me so far?

I had a similar experience and grieving period but I believe God prepared us with nominals and liberals so we could be fuelled to be True.

Unfortunately there is a lot of unsound teaching going on in churches and resources they water down God's message and an attitude of complacency happens it's easy to accept opinion that sounds Scriptually sound but isn't but to laxy to check it up because the teachers or resources are respected or popular. Seekers and new converts don't realise, even some well into their faith get lax.
They are being robbed of God by misguided teachers.
Witnessing a lax faith can be motivation and fuel to be really engaged to seek Him and not be contented.

Prayer is wanting it - so your battle is already 90% won.

But prayer will sustain you.
