Here is my favorite prayer:

SERENITY PRAYER

God, grant me the courage to change the things I can change,

the serenity to accept those I cannot change,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

But God, grant me the courage not to give up on what I think is right,

even though I think it is hopeless.

Amen

For some reason, everywhere we move, we always seem to put our Serenity Prayer plaques up in the bathroom(s). I don't know why, but it is a bit ironic! We don't consciously do it, we just look for a good place, and the bathroom(s) always seem to be the right place!

Lady Grace, I love the serenity prayer...here is is in it's entirety. It's beautiful.

Enjoying one moment at a time,

Accepting hardships as a pathway to peace.

Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will.

That I may be reasonably happy in this life,

And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
