Prayers for Syria

Good Evening all,

I know many of you will already be praying for the situation in Syria. for those who have not yet, I ask that you pray for those who have died, for those who are still alive and suffering, and for the leaders of the countries involved, that they will find a peaceful solution to the current crisis, and will not allow the war the escalate to a far worse state.

" there will be wars and rumors of wars". God is already on it but I pray the destruction in all ways be limited, in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

Yes, I actually know some very dear people who have families in some of the cities that have been affected and we have prayed for them. It is hard for them feeling so hopeless to help their loved ones who have pretty much lost everything and have no way out any longer. The world can be a cold and inhospitable place but we pray that God will raise up helpers that can communicate the love of Jesus to those who in the line of fire and their families who are under great anxiety over them.

17 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

Prayer against God's prophecy usually won't work . Hopefully God lead many of them to Christ and they will escape before war will start .

Thank you for praying sister! Those families desperately need prayer!
I was attempting to expound Jesus' command in John 15 with an example and the Lord led me to the video. I love to hear the Church exemplify in song how we are to fulfill Jesus' love for us to the world. The only thing better is seeing the song in action.

Jhn 15:12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

A verse came to me this morning when i was reading Proverbs about fear and anxiety. It was this one:

"A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" ~Psalm 27:1

Yes, without Him we'd all still be groping in the dark and tripping over ourselves but He has given us light to see His great love for us and that cast out our fears. Nothing is stronger than God's love to be sure! Thanks for sharing the verse!
