Heavenly Father,
Look down upon your children, especailly our new Pope, Pope Benedict. Shine your Holy Spirit upon us that we may follow you more obediantly, and do your will.
May you bless our new Pope with much grace, for his burden will be heavy. Give him the will to stand up to those who would try to detroy us, give him the blessings, as you did John Paul, to reach out to our Christian brethren to bring them home, so that we might find peace.
I ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son
