  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I just figured out why my plans, for moving into an apartment closer to my hometown parish, have been delayed for so long. The landlord of the apartment I'm planning on moving into has cancer, and that's what's been slowing him down, please pray for him, he really needs them whether I move in or not.

I should add that I am totally open to my plans for moving to totally collapse, and have been praying only to trust in God, regardless of which way things go. In fact I actually have this plan of choosing between two statues of Mary based on whether or not I move: If I do move, I'll get a small statue of Our Lady of Fatima to decorate my new home-altar at my apartment, if my plan for moving fails, I'll get a large statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and draw my strength from the Lord, for the Elijah-like situation I'm in.

Either this week, or next we'll know for sure whether I move or not. In the meantime keep praying that I forgive my modernist RCIA class.

Iesu confido Tibi!
