Jake, an acquaintance of mine recently lost a close friend and I am asking for prayers to help him deal with loss, stay strong and see GOD's love in such a difficult time.

Jake, an acquaintance of mine recently lost a close friend and I am asking for prayers to help him deal with loss, stay strong and see GOD's love in such a difficult time.

I prayed that Jake can deal with loss in the right way, and that his close friend is in a better place.

If possible, maybe share this devotional with Jake, as these verses offer comfort to him, as his friend is in a better place (assuming he is Christian): City of Heaven (Pt. 1)

Lord we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to be upon Jake for the loss of a close friend. Guide him Lord and make in him a strong but gentle heart.
