First off, I wish to thank everyone for their prayers after my post back in February . So much has happened since then , most for the best .
To start off , an update on the situations I mentioned then . My Mom came home from the hospital after 2 months back on April 2nd. She still has issues with her memory and still gets confused , but her improvement is amazing and can be seen each day . Only our Father could bring about such healing.
As for the job/ manager situation I was facing ... well, within 2 weeks of posting , she was removed from the company. What was really amazing , and I could never have done on my own power , is that despite all of the bad blood between us , we were able to work well together in that time and had come to a place of respect for one another before she left . I can even say now that I even learned some things from her that have helped me in the situation I'm in now.
Which leads me to where I now am .
March ended with a major shake up at work ,new management staff coming in and it appeared my position as lead Projectionist at the Cinema I worked at being scaled back . Yet , right before it became official , I was contacted by a new Theater opening 5 minutes from home ( I was 30 minutes away from the other ) and was recruited as one of their managers.
It has been real exciting , not only moving up to a better position and having greater freedom to work in and with the departments I love and excel at , but to play a role in opening up a new location .
Even better, it has become quite obvious that the majority of the superiors and fellow managers are strong believers. Not only in their speech , but their walk . I can also tell , it is also true with a number of my employees.
Downside at this time, is one manager who believes that the way to advance is to play one against another and take credit for other work and spread gossip , etc. It has created a tense situation between myself and that individual. Said individual is one who is on the fence with their beliefs.
I am guilty of allowing anger and bitterness towards this person to cloud my judgement at times and sadly , my tongue has been sharp . I know I have sinned in this and even attempted to apologize and correct the matter , only to have my words twisted and used against me.That still does not excuse my part.
And, I try to remind myself that almost all see through this person.
I ask for prayers for not only this situation and individual , but also that I might be a positive leader for the Lord. Especially since I have a large number of young people working for me and desire to be a good role model for them and hopefully a good example of our faith , being able to be there ready to share when needed.

Praise God for all He has done. Oy! Working in business can be so hard at times. But you sound great, a good attitude and humility before the Lord. He can use that. Controlling our tongues is our most challenging area as Christians. Most honorable request.
