  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had posted this in the prayer request forum...Leg wounds need healing

After the first time I was out of the pressure pack boot the swelling came back...
In an attempt to deal with it myself I wrapped leg too tight amounting to putting a tourniquet on it.
Luckily I listened to the pain and unwrapped it before having to go to the emergency room.

I went back to the wound center and had to have another pressure pack boot put on
and instructed to keep the leg TOTALLY elevated so stayed home for over a week.
It was well worth it because last week I was able to NOT had the "boot" on again.

The doc told me to schedule an appointment in two weeks which I could cancel if the last wound finally healed over.

WooHoo

As of yesterday the last and worse wound was healed over.
I still have to spend as much time as I can with my leg elevated.

Praise the Lord the wounds are finally healed.
And I now know what to do to address any future recurrences.

:prayer:
The only issue I am having is work is not thrilled that I have been out the bulk of the last two months
dealing with this even though they authorized Family Leave for me.
So that has been causing me some unnecesary stress.
