[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]and rushed right into the day.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I had so much to accomplish[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]that I didn't have time to pray.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]Problems just tumbled about me,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]and heavier came each task.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]He answered, "You didn't ask."[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I wanted to see joy and beauty,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]but the day toiled gray and bleak;[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I wondered why God didn't show me,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]He said, "But you didn't seek."[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I tried to come into God's presence;[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I used all my keys at the lock,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]God gently and lovingly chided,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]"My child, you didn't knock."[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I woke up early this morning,[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]and paused before entering the day;[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]I had so much to accomplish[/font]
[font=Times New Roman, adobe-times, Times]that I had to take time to pray.[/font]​

Lord Jesus, you are so sweet and tender and merciful ... help us spend more time with You and NEVER be too busy to be in your sweet presence, Lord. We need You every day, Lord, we need a loving and healing touch by You, so hold us close to Your heart, sweet Jesus. Thank You for wanting to spend time with us. I am in awe when thinking of that You really want to abide with us.
