  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear God, Please help Freda during this very difficult time. Bless her & her boys with strength to keep on keeping on. Keep her from going into depression. Help her know that You are alive and well and You care about her. Help her totally cast her cares on you. And Lord, We know with you all things are possible. Intervene for your perfect plan and will to be manifested in all their lives.

Be with them. Lead, guide, and direct them. Send all kinds of help their way. Please and Thank-you, Lord. All things asked in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

I just read email my mom sent last night about dad:

His doctor called last night and said one of the 12 specimens that they took was cancerous.
The doctor will be contacting the urologist this morning to set up an appointment.
He believes that all they will be doing is injecting radiation seeds in the prostate and that will take care of the problem.
It was caught early and simple to take care of the problem at this stage.

Update on Gloria....
Her path report came back this past week,and the news was not good. it was Anaplastic Astrocytoma Stage 3. She has brain cancer. She is still in good spirits, though. She says she doesn't know how this fits into God's plan, but she knows that it does. She is going to have a procedure next week called Gamma Knife lazer treatment. I will let you know more, when I hear.

My husband died with a dif. kind of brain tumor and believe it or not I know of over 6 other people that died with these things.

There are a certain kind of tumors that can be healed with removal but others they do experimental things on the patients.

I sincerely pray God will do the leading in this situation. I have seen more than I can type here right now.

No one likes a neg. report so I will add to this by saying that I have prayed for many people with brain tumors and have personally met ONE pastor in FL that was miraculously healed of this at age 9. WHen I met him he was a walking miracle and I have heard of one other miracle case.

Others have accepted the Lord's will and graciously gone on to glory land so to speak.

I really don't know what else to type except I will say another prayer.

God can do anything.

God loves a just and balanced scale.

The fervent effectual prayer of the righteous availeth much.

If I were to know of anyone that got diagnosed with a brain tumor again (since I have known so many to be dx with this) I would encourage the prayer above all else. I would get them on a prayer chain if possible as you have done for your friend on here and I would see if they were open to going to a church that believes in anointing them with oil as the Scriptures say should be done for any who are in need of a healing or for any who are sick.

It is my experience that the prayers are more beneficial that anything this world has to offer.

My friend is on many prayer chains. Three other boards besides this one, and at least 3 or 4 churches. She is not worried. She has a great faith in God, and has a peace that I would never have. Continue to pray though.

Praise God.

I knew a pastor with a level 4 cancer. He called me when my husband got ill and he told me to share a faith message with my husband. The pastor got healed and lived many years past the time expected and he continued to encourage others. My husband and his son both died before the Lord finally took the pastor home.

Our times are in the hands of the Lord.

The pastor got a miracle.

I am so happy to read of your friend's faith. God will not fail her. God is not in the failure business.

It is also great God has given her the peace that passes understanding that He gives so wonderfully.
